Alizae Marie Martinez (Law) Obituary
In Loving Memory: Alizae Marie Martinez (Law)
(May 10, 2001 – December 12, 2025)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alizae Marie Martinez (Law), who left us on December 12, 2025, in Denver, Colorado. She was 24 years old.
Alizae was born on May 10, 2001, in Greeley, Colorado. Arriving on that special Wednesday, she was the absolute best Mother's Day gift I could have ever received. From the very beginning, Alizae was a unique individual who brought a shining light to whoever’s life she entered.
A natural empath, Alizae was charismatic, kind, and resilient. She was a woman of strong character who held her own opinions and was never afraid to speak her mind. Generous to her core, she was a legendary force that left an imprint everywhere she went. She believed deeply that the definition of family is not always determined by DNA; rather, the title of Family is earned through devotion and loyalty.
Alizae’s passions were as vibrant as her personality. A loyal Dallas Cowboys fan from the young age of eight and a half, she also loved music and dancing. She held early ambitions of becoming an actress or singer, and her love for the arts was evident in her hobbies, which included ballet and playing the violin. She was also a wrestler, proving her toughness and determination.
She absolutely loved and cherished animals, exploring the possibility of becoming a veterinarian before eventually finding her calling as a Corrections Officer. She was also expanding her horizons by taking cosmetology classes. Alizae was a hero for many voiceless human beings, always standing up for those who could not stand up for themselves.
She loved traveling and exploring new places, towns, and cities, but she also loved the activities her home state of Colorado had to offer, from hiking the mountain trails to enjoying a Rockies game at Coors Field. Above all, she loved spending time creating memories with her friends and family.
Alizae was loved beyond what words can measure. She is survived by her mother, TarQuin J Parra; her father, Rene Danial Martinez Jr., and stepmother, Ashley Martinez; her brother, Noah Martinez; and her sisters, Reyna M Parra and Nobalee M Parra.
She was a devoted aunt to her nephews, Nechemyia J Martinez, Kahmalani A Parra, and Judha Solano, and her niece, Allyiah Parra.
She is also survived by her grandparents, Joan Buxman, Tina Murdaugh, Ana Villanueva, Oscar Puga, Carolina Puga, Lucia Puga, and her Grams, Mrs. Drew; and her great-grandparents, Carol and Ted Carpenia, and Luis Alonso Medrano.
She leaves behind her uncles and aunts: Luis Alonso Medrano Jr., Christina Lave and her husband Mark, Crystal Mornville and her husband Tracy, and her Aunt Danyelle. She will be missed by her cousins Rylee, James, Nathnal, and Alonso Lave; Hailey and Troy Mornville; and Danyelle’s children. She is also remembered by her ex-husband, Monte Law, and many, many, many others.
Alizae was preceded in death by Grand father, Harold Buxman; her brother, Samual J Martinez; her grandfather, Enrique Parra; her great-grandparents, John and Angelina Martinez; her grandmother, Thersa Lopez; her aunt, Guadalupe Guzman; Grace Guzman; and her uncles, Carlos Meraz and Christopher Gasca.
As we remember the impact of her life, we are reminded of the chaos theory that suggests small actions can have vast consequences:
"It has been said that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world."
Alizae was that butterfly, and her ripple effect will be felt forever.
